The Consumer Terminal Checkout App enables a user to utilize the ID Tech VIVO pay 3rd party hardware to, with Bluetooth capability, place an encrypted card on their phone for heightened privacy when in merchant use.
The ID Tech VIVO pay hardware handles the encrypting of the debit or credit card which is then ported into the Consumer Terminal Checkout app via Bluetooth connection.
No card data is stored on the ID Tech VIVO pay hardware — it is only used to hash/encrypt card numbers.
Example: ************1953 where 1953 is the last four digits of your personal debit or credit card. The merchants only sees your hashed ************ encrypted card credentials.
We do not have access to the unencrypted card credentials nor do we store them in any database of sorts.
We do not collect any of your personal contact information.
We do not sell any of your personal information to third parties.
Location data is only collected in the way of enabling the Consumer Terminal Checkout app functionality via Bluetooth and not stored for later use.
